First date? Pizza. Bad mood? Pizza. Netflix and Chill? Pizza. Funeral? Pizza. No other food comes close to the flexibility of pizza. And while we all have our own go-to pizza places,

if you want to try something fresh, try Gianetto's.

I was so blessed to work with them briefly on some PR work and their social media, with this comes the perks of free pizza! They sent me over three boxes of my choice: The BHM (Bacon, Ham, Mushroom), Eats Me Spinach, and the Wassapeen pizza (which upon writing, is no longer available). Each box came with a special honey dip and a spicy sauce. The roll-up pizzas also came with a complimentary box of alfalfa sprouts and arugula! #YUM

Gianetto's Pizza is definitely different from your larger pizza chain chains that often serve up greased-up pizzas with overloaded toppings. They source the freshest ingredients and make the dough from scratch. One of the owners took a course on pizza making pre-pandemic and used her skills to earn on the side during the pandemic. The dough, in my opinion, is worthy of attention. It was light and chewy with the right amount of sweetness, the perfect vehicle for the fresh toppings. And just to note, the crust is so much better the next day microwaved! I don't know what sorcery went into that dough, but you simply must try it!

All the pizzas I tried were refreshing and appetizing but I have to say that the Eats Me Spinach was my favorite. It was creamy and savory thanks to the cream cheese and the spinach yet it was balanced out with the sweetness of the crust and the honey drizzle! The Wassapeen was also an interesting one, unlike any other pizza I've had. It had the delectable fishy taste contrasted by the freshness of the arugula and alfalfa! Sad to see it's no longer on their menu.

With a price range of P299-P580, Gianetto is s small yet budding business you have to try out! The premium is worth it for the quality you get. When this was delivered to me, the delivery rider was quick to say "Ma'am, ang bango naman niyan. Amoy pa lang masarap na" (that smells so good! It seems delicious just based on the smell). But fear not, they have promos every now and then, so just time your order!

Drop by their website or Grabfood to order a pizza.
They're open from Tuesday to Sunday, 11Am-7PM.
